p...diddy turns 60.......

MY DAD turned sixty on saturday....

Pat Joesph Dwyer, was born 11,11,1944 on a street in grand falls called railway road. He grew up on king street in the town of Windisor...Dad is the oldest of fifteen kids and has been the elder statesman from day one...doing peoples taxes, helping them with medicial problems and appointments, dad was the head of x-ray at the grand falls hospital....so you see dad has always been the rock of the family..

dad taught me how to skate, swim, cook and tell white lies to door to door sales people...he is a man of few words and a `man who cares a great deal about us all...so here is a little tribute to all things pat....

My dad has a very dry sense of humor...when you ask him how he is doing...he replies...I don't know....

Dad always has a plan and then a plan b and then a plan c and then a....you get the picture...

I write this now on a laptop at a art studio in newtown nl, and I think of my dad and how he would be a great printmaker only because of his precise nature and ability to make home made soup in several varities..

Me and dad pruned a tree the last time I was in...we managed to skin it out in half an hour, we do that occasionally dad likes taking care of the house and keeping the place straightened out for mom... what else we saw the movie sky captin and wthe world of tomorrow...dad calls it science friction..I call it just boring....

anyway dad now is probably enjoying a meal at the mount peyton resturant...eatting a clubhouse...drinkinhg tea...smiling...telling a joke or two about a guy who likes to eat all his meals with a fork... no knife...just a fork....imagine...

Dad what are you at? happy sixtieth birthday...I know ...you don't know....

peace love son of pat
